About Mike
Aloha, my name is Michael Elika Ernst. It has been my dream to spread music to others since teaching my first chords to a friend back in middle school. For more than 10 years I have been playing, writing, and teaching music. I have taught people of all backgrounds and skill levels from “never having picked up a guitar,” to performing weekly.

I was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii. I graduated from the Kamehameha Schools in 97 and graduated from college 5 years later from Colorado State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration. I have lived abroad and love to travel. For fun I enjoy a day at the beach with friends and love to surf.
